Methodology

The subscriber total was recorded from the first-party email platform after nine weeks of audience-building activity. This note preserves the observed outcome and the known context. It does not infer causation beyond the recorded initiative because channel-by-channel exposure and a control group were not available for publication.

Findings

  • The list reached 315 subscribers during the nine-week observation period.
  • The result shows that a defined furniture audience can be built as an owned channel within a relatively short period.
  • Subscriber count alone does not establish sales value; engagement, retention and commercial outcomes need longer observation.

Source data

The source is the first-party subscriber total held within the project’s email platform. Private subscriber information is not published. A redacted evidence record can be supplied for legitimate editorial or commercial verification where appropriate.

Limitations

  • This is one initiative, not a representative sample of the UK furniture market.
  • There was no randomised control group.
  • The published observation does not attribute individual subscribers to specific channels.
  • The result should not be treated as a forecast or guarantee for another business.

Interpretation

The practical signal is that useful audience-building activity can create an owned route back to potential customers. The next question is not simply how quickly the list grows, but whether subscribers remain engaged and eventually contribute to enquiries or revenue.
